Objective To investigate the effect of early drip feeding on the nutritional status of premature infants. Methods Twenty-four preterm infants with swallowing dysfunction or incompetence of sucking or swallowing swallowing were randomly divided into two groups: 19 patients in drip feeding group and 23 patients in nasogastric feeding group. The recovery time of body weight in both groups was observed Nipple feeding time, complete discharge of meconium, hospitalization time and the impact of complications. Results Compared with nasogastric tube feeding group (P <0.01), there were fewer complications (P <0.05), such as body weight recovery time, up to nipple feeding time, complete discharge time and hospitalization time Significance of learning. Conclusion The method of drip feeding in premature infants is simple and has few complications and can meet the nutritional needs of premature infants. It is suitable for premature infants who have swallowing function but have weak sucking ability or sucking and swallowing uncoordinated feeding.
