19世纪末到20世纪上半叶,人类社会步入工业革命顶峰时期,它最显著的特征之一就是以机械生产为代表的科学技术的发展。1906年,美国人弗莱斯特发明了电子管,使得人类由此进入电子管时期。从20世纪初开始,在人们对科学技术极力崇尚的背景下,西方许多有远见的、有着科学家和理论家等多重身份的音乐爱好者与职业音乐家将实现音乐历史新发展的目光转向了科学技术。
From the late 19th century to the first half of the 20th century, one of the most striking features of human society when it entered the peak of the industrial revolution was the development of science and technology represented by machinery production. In 1906, the American Fleisch invented the electron tube, which made the human enter the tube period. From the beginning of the 20th century, under the background that people strongly advocate science and technology, many Western visionary music lovers and professional musicians with multiple identities of scientists and theorists turned their attention to the new development of music history to science technology.
