提起“为艺术而艺术”(art for art’s sake)这个口号,人们立刻会想到唯美主义运动;提起英国的唯美主义运动,人们会不由自主地联想到王尔德。这位时运不济的作家、戏剧家在短暂的一生中不遗全力地鼓吹唯美主义,把自己的名字和这一文艺思潮紧密联系起来,也为此付出了沉重的代价。唯美主义运动(Aestheticism)是十七世纪来起源于欧洲(主要是法国)的一种文艺创作理论和方法,其影响至今还能在不少作品中找到一二。 Mentioning the slogan “art for art’s sake,” people immediately begin to think of the Amelanchist movement. Mentioning Wilde’s involuntary remembrance of the Ameland movement in Britain. The ill-fated writer and dramatist who devoted his time to advocating aestheticism and linked his name closely to this literary trend paid a heavy price for it. Aestheticism is a literary and art creation theory and method originated in Europe (mainly France) in the seventeenth century. Its influence can still be found in many works so far.
