《威尼斯狂欢节》是十九世纪意大利威尼斯地区一首广为流行的民歌。曾被许多著名作曲家如帕格尼尼、舒尔霍夫、赫尔兹及贝尔迪克特等采用。贝尔迪克特是英国的男爵,他为花腔女高音写的一组声乐变奏曲《威尼斯狂欢节》颇为流行。李斯特也曾将这个曲调用作狂想曲第九首《布达佩斯狂欢节》中的主题。其中,由法国作曲家阿尔班改编的小号版本《威尼斯狂欢节》中的高难的技巧举世公认,成了每个小号高手必须经过的考验,也因此成为现代小号演奏家们必演的曲目之一。
