英语词汇教学历来存在着费时多,收效少的弊端,而词汇是组成语言的最基本材料,是语言三要素中最重要的。没有词汇,任何语言都是不可想象的。英国语言学家魏尔金斯精辟地指出:“没有语法不能很好地表达,而没有词汇则什么都不能表达。”(转引自平克虹,1999)研究听力教学的学者们认为:“词汇量的大小从一个侧面决定了听力理解的程度。”(转引自平克虹,1999)词汇量达不到要求,学生在听说方面感到困难,听说能力差,自然读写方面也会受到影响。那么如何有效地进行词汇教学呢?
