自 2 0 0 0年以来 ,我们在地质学理科基地双语教学方面进行了一些探索和实践。在师资队伍建设方面 ,采取了聘请外教、院士亲自上课、聘请外教授课的同时培训自己的师资等办法 ;在教材建设方面 ,采用了英文教材和中文教学参考书相结合的方式 ,并增加了英文补充材料 ,编写了双语专业词汇 ;在实验室建设方面 ,配备了英汉标签和英汉说明 ;在课件建设方面 ,采用或编制了英文和双语课件 ;并且 ,采用了丰富多彩的双语教学形式和方法。通过努力和探索 ,不但达到了教学基本要求 ,而且不同程度地提高了学生的专业英语听、说、读、写能力和综合素质 ,取得了一举多得的教学效果 Since 2000, we have conducted some exploration and practice in bilingual teaching of geology science bases. In terms of teaching staff construction, we employ methods such as hiring foreign teachers and academicians to attend classes in person and employing foreign teachers to teach them while training their own teachers. In the construction of teaching materials, a combination of English teaching materials and Chinese teaching reference books is adopted and English is added Supplementary materials and bilingual professional vocabulary. In laboratory construction, it has English-Chinese labels and explanations in English and Chinese. English and bilingual courseware have been adopted or compiled in courseware construction. In addition, rich and colorful bilingual teaching forms and methods have been adopted. Through hard work and exploration, not only the basic requirements for teaching have been achieved, but also the students’ listening, speaking, reading, writing ability and overall quality of professional English have been enhanced to varying degrees and the teaching effect has been greatly enhanced
