在初中英语单词教学中,有的英语教师特别是农村英语教师,总是先把单词逐一讲解,然后就让学生背诵和默写,学生当时看似记住了,当阅读中再现的时候又茫然了,早已忘记其所表达的意义。新课改中,初中英语教学目标要求学生掌握的单词量比过去增加了,同时对学生的阅读量也提出了更高的要求。若还是按原来的英语单词教学法开展教学,学生要掌握大量单词就比较困难,这时教师需要进一步探索英语单词的教学方法,以帮助学生更有效地识记单词。
