The phenomenon of tea and tea culture in British literature contains traces of the reinterpretation and rewriting of the imported Chinese tea culture by British native culture. This is of great significance to the derivation of the unique British tea culture. The cultural identity of British literature, tea, has been constructed as a luxury, a luxury of necessity and a ritual drink, or in short, the other, a hobby and a sign. Because of the openness of the cultural differences between China and the UK, the flow of tea identity changes. In an open situation, British culture stares and longs for Chinese tea to eventually occupy and naturalize it. Tea is also top-down mixed into the diet and social culture in the UK, and ultimately beyond the cultural differences between China and Britain to generate a new meaning, the establishment of an independent British tea culture.
