在当代中国社会转型时期,自主性和权利主张、自我价值实现已成为公民普遍的价值追求。这一方面表明了中国社会的真正进步,另一方面也展示了人类文明的普世性价值与中国文化的本土性价值之间的张力。中国公民教育的发展正是在这种张力之中展开的。实践表明,中国公民教育的发展,既要吸收人类文明的普世性价值,又不能照搬西方的公民教育模式,而是应结合中国的国情实际与本土特征来进行有针对性的思考与探索。在这个维度上,只有那些立足于中国本土的现实语境生发出来的基本主题才能真正成为有意义的言说。这就很有必要对中国已有的优质公民教育资源进行本源性的重读与研究。
In the period of social transformation in contemporary China, autonomy and the claim of rights and the realization of self-worth have become the universal value pursuit of citizens. On the one hand, it shows the real progress of Chinese society and on the other hand it shows the tension between the universal value of human civilization and the local value of Chinese culture. It is in this tension that the development of Chinese civic education is carried out. Practice shows that the development of China’s civic education not only needs to absorb the universal value of human civilization but also can not copy the western model of civic education. Instead, it should conduct targeted thinking and exploration based on China’s national conditions and local characteristics. In this dimension, only the basic themes that emerge from the real context of the Chinese mainland can really become meaningful words. It is necessary to carry out the original re-reading and research on the existing high-quality civic education resources in China.
