目的 :观察夏枯草醇提物对实验性糖尿病大鼠肾脏病变的防治作用。方法 :夏枯草经乙醇、氯仿提取得醇提物 (AEP)。腹腔注射链脲佐菌素后 4周 ,造成大鼠糖尿病模型 (DM ) ,灌胃AEP 10 0mg/kg、2 0 0mg/kg 4周 ,测定血糖、肾功能和肾组织醛糖还原酶活性。结果 :AEP能显著降低糖尿病大鼠尿蛋白 ,AEP 10 0mg/kg能降低血清尿素氮、肌酐含量 ;能显著降低DM大鼠肾组织醛糖还原酶 (AR)活性。结论 :AEP对糖尿病大鼠并发肾脏病变有一定的防治作用 ,其作用机制可能通过抑制醛糖还原酶活性以减轻山梨醇蓄积造成相关组织器官的损害。
Objective : To observe the preventive and therapeutic effects of Prunella vulgaris extract on renal lesions in experimental diabetic rats. Methods: Prunella vulgaris was extracted with ethanol and chloroform to obtain alcohol extract (AEP). Four weeks after intraperitoneal injection of streptozotocin, rats with diabetes mellitus (DM) were intragastrically administered with AEP 100 mg/kg and 200 mg/kg for 4 weeks. Blood glucose, renal function, and renal aldose reductase activity were measured. Results: AEP could significantly reduce the urinary protein of diabetic rats. AEP 100 mg/kg could reduce the serum urea nitrogen and creatinine content, and it could significantly reduce the activity of aldose reductase (AR) in kidney of DM rats. Conclusion : AEP has certain preventive and therapeutic effects on diabetic rats with nephropathy. The mechanism of action may be through the inhibition of aldose reductase activity to reduce the damage of sorbitol and related tissues and organs.
