中国国家大剧院位于北京古西长安街以南,天安门广场西,人民大会堂西侧。大剧院呈半椭圆形,表面南钛金属板和超白玻璃巧妙拼接,营造出舞台帷幕徐徐拉开的视觉效果。整个建筑漂浮于人造水面之上,行人需从一条80米长的水下通道进入演出大厅。大剧院造型新颖、前卫,构思独特,庞大的椭圆外形在长安街上显得像个天外来客,与周遭环境的冲突让它显得十分抢眼,是传统与现代、浪漫与现实的有趣结合。国家大剧院由法国建筑师保罗·安德鲁主持设计。
The National Grand Theater of China is located to the south of Chang’an Avenue in the west of the ancient city of Beijing, to the west of Tiananmen Square and to the west of the Great Hall of the People. Theater was semi-oval, the surface of South titanium metal plate and ultra-white glass clever splicing, creating a stage curtain slowly opened the visual effects. The entire building floats above man-made surface and pedestrians need to enter the performance hall from an 80-meter underwater passage.
