There are currently only about 30,000 Aboriginal people (downstream of the Amur River) and Sakhalin (that is, Sakhalin Island) with about 30,000 indigenous peoples (based on Soviet 1978 statistics), including eight ethnic groups (including tribal groups). Although they have a small population (some 400 ethnic people only) and live scatteredly, these ethnic groups are the representatives of a series of independent languages, special cultures and special economic types. Whether it is written historical materials or the large number of cultural relics discovered by the ancient tribes in recent years, the history and culture of these peoples have a long history of connection with the ancient Chinese nation. Therefore, it is of great significance to understand and study the present and past of these peoples.
