在我们中国大地上,祀奉东岳大帝的庙宇不少。其中著名的当首推泰山岱顶的东岳庙。即所谓“五岳独尊”。而北京朝阳门外大街北侧建于元代的东岳庙,据说是华北地区规模最大的。且由于其所处的特殊地位,名声自然也不小。然而,位于山西吕梁山南麓蒲县的东岳庙,由于其悠久的历史和独特的庙宇构造,却也遐迩闻名。
In our land of China, there are many temples dedicated to Dongyue Great Emperor. Among them, the famous Dongyue Temple, the top of Mount Tai, is the most famous one. The so-called The Dongyue Temple built in the Yuan Dynasty on the north side of Chaoyangmenwai Avenue in Beijing is said to be the largest in North China. And because of its special status, the reputation is naturally not small. However, the Dongyue Temple in Puxian, south of Luliang Mountain in Shanxi Province, is well-known for its long history and unique temple architecture.
