2004年10月21日,中国驻日本大使王毅出席日本经团联举办的欢迎会,王毅大使向与会者表示:为进一步开辟中日经贸合作的前景,建议日本经济界的朋友们考虑,推动双方多搞一些大型合作项目,尤其是对两国各自的经济发展产生积极影响的大项目。同时希望提高两国经济合作的水平,尤其是加强技术领域的合作,从而为中日经贸合作增添新内容,迈上新阶段。
