前言据說当施行扦插繁殖时,發根困难的植物,是由于插穗中存在着有阻碍發根的物質,为了除去这种物質,把插穗用过錳酸鉀(Kmno4)处理。茶树扦插后發根的难易,原因是很多的,这个試驗底目的,是要証明过錳酸钾有沒有促進發根的效果。供扦插用的土壤,一般都用赤土,但連續使用2—3年后,虽能同样發根,其后的生育却很不好,所以普通到了第3年,都須換用新土,如能把換土手續省掉,是非常经济的,因此又做土壤試
