7月21日,省委省政府在武昌召开的全省个体私营经济发展工作会上。提出了“九五”期间我省个体、私营经济大发展,大提高新的发展目标:全省个体、私营经济发展速度要实现两个“高于”——高于全国平均发展水平,高于全省经济发展速度。到本世纪末,我省个体私营经济从业人员占全省总人口的比重由1994年的4.3%提高到7%;产值占全省工业总产值的比重由5.3%提高到11%;消费品零售额占全省社会消费品零售额的比重由30%提高到40%;全省私营企业从1.5万户发展到8万户。为实现这一新的发展目标,省委、省政府决定采取以下几项重要措施,从各方面扶持全省个体、私营经济大发展、大提高。
