新兴市场经济体在全球经济体系中份额上升,国际金融体系改革这个话题在国际社会浮出水面,而因应经济力量变动调整不同国家在国际金融组织的权力结构又是其中的重要内容。在2006年9月18日的国际货币基金组织新加坡年会上,国际货币基金组织就以90.6%投票权的压倒多数通过了份额和发言权改革提案,其要点就是提高中国、韩国、土耳其、墨西哥等主要新兴市场经济体的份额和投票权;
The share of emerging market economies in the global economic system has risen. The reform of the international financial system has surfaced in the international community.
