自1989年以来,厚皮甜瓜试种面积逐年扩大.但由于伊丽莎白为一代杂种,种子进口困难且价格昂贵,限制了该品种的大面积推广.为此,自1985年开始,我们开展了耐湿厚皮甜瓜亲本材料的选育及其杂优利用的研究,目的在于选育出商品性、产量都接近或超过伊丽莎白的厚度甜瓜替代新品种(F_1).现将研究的初步结果报道如下.一、耐湿厚皮甜瓜亲本M89-4的选育根据南方多雨地区春、夏雨水多、湿度大、日照少、温差小的气候特点,1985年从众多引进品种中筛选出适于南方气候特点大棚
