越战正酣的六、七十年代,美国人民不满政府把与美国人民无关的战争不断升级,于是反战,大众媒介推波助澜,不断报道渲染国内的暴力事件。而美国的所谓性解放运动也于此期间上升至火红火绿的高潮:嬉皮士群居、流浪、服药、吸毒、滥交、杂交,警察暴力随着抗议运动而升级,黑人、穷人、失业者群起犯案,人民对政府日渐失却信心。此时标榜反社会英雄的犯罪片、警匪片,描写性狂乱、反宗教、反权威的所谓社会写实片、性爱片,或是乘机搏乱的胡闹色情片便应运而生。在欧洲,也因为受着越战、学运、工运乃至中国文革的影响,整片欧洲大陆弥漫着造反的思潮,电影潮流上也出现一阵造反之风。艺术片弄得天翻地覆不必说,就是商业片,也不断向传统的道德价值观挑战,加上欧洲法、意、德几个电影大国都陷于市场不景气,有规模的制作大减,于是小本制作的软性乃至硬性色情片便成了商家生存竞争的最佳出路,色情惊险片、色情恐怖片、色情爱欲奇情片由是大增。

Needless to say, the art film is not only a commercial film, but also a constant challenge to the traditional moral values. In addition, several major movie-goers in Europe, France and Germany are trapped in a downturn in the market. Soft and even hardcore pornography has become the best way out for the survival of the business community. Pornographic thrillers, pornographic horror films and erotic Eros magical movies have greatly increased.
