越糯３号是绍兴市农科所以越糯１号／黑宝／／嘉育２９３杂交选育而成的中熟早籼糯新品种。１９９６年参加浙江省早稻联合品比试验，平均产量６３３４．２kg／hm２，居１１个参试品种（系）之首，分别较对照浙８５２和嘉育２９３增产８．０１％和３．４３％，前者达显著标准。
Yue Nuo No.3 is a middle-maturing early indica glutinous new variety which is selected from the cross of Shaoxing Agricultural Science and Technology Department, Yue Nuo 1 / Black / Jia Yu 293. In 1996, it participated in Zhejiang early rice combination test with the average yield of 6334.2kg / hm2, ranking the first among the 11 tested varieties (lines), respectively increasing 8.01% and 3.43% comparing with the control Zhejiang 852 and Jiayu 293, , The former reached a significant standard.
