赣中的龙潭组可分为南区与北区,两者之间为急剧变化。如高安钧山,煤系地层厚度大、岩石粒度粗、可分为四段,仅老山段下部含可采煤层。然而其西北两公里的枧溪,煤系上部相变为石灰岩及泥岩,老山段含煤性变差,官山段上部反而具有可采煤层。与赣中一样,苏南、浙北可分为东区与西区,湖南东南部的龙潭组与湘中、湘南亦有很大差别。笔者认为此乃苏赣湘古断裂活动的结果。据现有资料,它控制了茅口晚期至长兴期的沉积,在其它时期是否活动,尚待研究
The Longtan Formation in Ganzhong can be divided into Southern and Northern areas, with drastic changes between the two. Such as high security Jun Hill, coal seam thickness, rock coarse, can be divided into four sections, only the lower part of the Caledonian coal seam. However, two kilometers northwest of the Sui River, the upper coal facies changed to limestone and mudstone, Laoshan coal content deterioration, but the upper part of the Guanshan with recoverable seams. As in Ganzhong, southern Jiangsu and northern Zhejiang can be divided into eastern and western regions. The Longtan Formation in southeastern Hunan is also quite different from those in Hunan and southern Hunan. The author thinks this is the result of the ancient Gan-Xiang fault. According to available information, it controls the deposition from the late Maokou to Changxing period and whether it is active during other periods, yet to be studied
