It has been reported that (I)-Plasticles (MTS) isolated from Symplocos setchuensis in Sichuan has inhibitory effects on HIV replication in H9 lymphocytes, and that MTS derivatives have a stronger inhibitory effect on the virus in vitro. . To study the mechanism of MTS resistance to HIV, the authors used this ingredient to inhibit the activity of two casein kinases, CK-I and CK-II, and A-kinase and C-kinase.
