米象Sitophilus oryrae(L)和玉米象S.reamais Mots严重危害种种储藏的农、副、土特产品,是毁灭性仓库害虫。由于外部形态特征相似,过去一直把它们作为“米象”记录,混称历久。1974～75年,商业部组织一次全国仓虫普查,“发现我国广泛分布的并非米象而是玉米象,仅在个别省份发现有米象。”贵州情况未知。经收集解剖我省68个县、市(区)的103份标本。初步查明:玉米象遍布全省,米象目前仅在29个市、县有分布;贵州原有米象分布不广,大部份地区随同商品粮或稻种调入而传播。
Rice plants such as Sitophilus oryrae (L) and corn plants like S.reamais Mots are serious devastation of all kinds of stored agricultural, siderophilic and native products and are devastating warehouse pests. Because of their similar external morphological characteristics, they were used as “rice elephant” records in the past for a long time. From 1974 to 1975, the Ministry of Commerce organized a national census of insects and caterpillars. “It was found that there is a widespread phenomenon in our country that there is not only rice but maize elephants, but rice is only found in some provinces.” Guizhou’s situation is unknown. After the collection of anatomized 68 counties in our province, city (area) of the 103 specimens. Preliminary identification: corn like all over the province, rice elephant currently only in 29 cities and counties are distributed; Guizhou original rice is not widely distributed, most areas along with the introduction of commercial grain or rice and spread.
