忻州市公安局交警支队坚持以科学发展观为指导,围绕忻州市委、市政府提出的“3581”发展战略,认真贯彻落实市公安局和支队党委的总体部署,全面加强党的建设,并结合实际,推出35项新举措提升群众安全感和满意度。2012年,支队被山西省精神文明建设指导委员会评为文明和谐单位,被山西省治超办评为全省治超先进单位,被市委、市政府评为政法综治工作先进集体、市社会治安综合治理先进单位。
