被保险人投保标的发生保险责任范围内事故而使保险标的遭受损失以后,有权依据保险合同规定向保险公司提出补偿(赔偿)要求,称为索赔。为了保险公司能及时核赔,根据保险条款中“被保险人义务”、“赔偿处理”、“损失处理”、“赔款处理”部分的条文规定,发生损失以后,被保险人应按如下程序办理: (一)及时通知保险人。发生保险责任范围内的事故以后,被保险人应立即通知保险人或保险人在事故发生地点的分、支公司或保险单中注明的检验理赔代理人。通知的方式应先行电话或电报通知然后书面通知,通知内容包括事故时间、地点、估计原因、估计损失
