Objective To propose a preliminary reference value for operating a patient’s radiation dose guided by X-ray in the United States. Materials and Methods Here is a second analysis of the data from the Interventional Radiological Operational Radiation Dose (RAD-IR) study, which was approved by the Institutional Ethics Committee and meets HIPAA requirements. The dose distribution (percentiles) for each procedure in the RAD-IR study was calculated and each set contained at least 30 cases. Dose distribution
