在仪器仪表中需要许多冲压件,并且塑料注塑件的使用量也日益增多,为此就需要大量的模具。为了能低成本、高精度、快速地制造出模具,目前经常采用如下三种新的特种加工技术:电火花加工、电解加工和激光加工。一、电火花加工目前电火花加工的应用范围很广,它不但能加工一米以上的大型模具,而且能加工几微米的小孔和槽。由于它具有可大大缩短模具制造周期,并且加工技术不太复杂等优点,所以电火花加工机床的使用量在不断增多。从加工方式来分,电火花加工可分雕模加工和线切割加工。就雕模加工来讲,其加工机床的研制阶段已过,目前主要是要提高机床的精度、可靠性、操作及维修方便等性
