Its unique geographical location and historical origins make Xiamen radio and television workers undeniably take the important task of propaganda on Taiwan since the founding of the People’s Republic of China. With the increasingly close cross-strait economic, trade and cultural exchanges and the warming of political exchanges across the Taiwan Strait, Xiamen has become increasingly prominent as the forefront of its communication and cooperation with Taiwan.
