随着工业经济向知识经济迈进、生产技术的发展和人类征服自然能力的增强,人作为一种资源越来越受到重视。从强调对物的管理转向重视对人的管理,是管理领域中一个划时代的进步。而把人当作一种使组织在激烈的竞争中生存、发展、始终充满生机和活力的特殊资源来刻意地发掘,科学的管理已成为当代先进管理思想的重要组成部分。托马斯·彼得斯讲过“企业或事业惟一真正的资源是人,管理就是充分开发人力资源以做好工作”。
As the industrial economy moves towards the knowledge-based economy, the development of production technology and the enhancement of natural ability of mankind to conquer, man has drawn more and more attention as a kind of resource. From emphasizing the management of things to focusing on the management of people is an epoch-making progress in management. However, as a special resource that enables organizations to survive and develop in fierce competition and has always been full of vigor and vitality, the scientific management has become an important part of the advanced management thinking. Thomas Peters has said that “the only real resource for an enterprise or career is human beings. Management is to fully develop human resources to do a good job.”
