寒冷地区不少混凝土渠道常因冻融破坏而不得不投资维修.但有的混凝土渠道,年年维修,年年被冻融破坏,经济损失很大.为了查实原因,寻找对策,减免损失,本人于1984年春在石河子附近对混凝土渠道进行了调查.调查中发现,石河子市西公园东渠是一条十分成功的混凝土衬砌渠道.它于六十年代初建成,用60×50×4厘米预制块铺砌、水泥砂浆填塞勾缝,已使用20多年,至今仍完好无损.而另一条渠道——农八师一四八团总干渠,也是六十年代修建的混凝土衬砌渠道,却年年遭受冻融破坏,年年维修,几经改建已面目全非.这条渠道于1982—1983年改建时,渠基用40厘米厚的风积砂换填,其上用一层塑料薄膜二层混凝土预制块铺砌,结果仍然遭到冻胀融沉破坏.
