１９９５年１１月中下旬，我们对乐业大石围进行科学考察时，发现在距大石围南坳口南面约３００多米，海拔１２７０米的旱地中，生长着４～５株古茶树，树高４～６米，胸径６～１０厘米，树龄逾百年，但仍枝繁叶茂，生机勃勃，树枝上还开着不少白色的花朵。如此古老的饮用茶树
