1923年5月至11月间发生于东江区域的讨伐陈炯明叛军之役,是孙中山一生多次亲临前线直接指挥作战的一次典型战例,也是一次具有重大历史意义的战役。它不仅为促进第一次国共合作局面的形成奠定了军事和政治基础,而且成为孙中山革命生涯中与惠州为主体的东江区域关系密切的历史见证。
The campaign to crusade against Chen Jiongming that took place in the Dongjiang region from May to November 1923 was a typical example of Sun Yat-sen’s many direct visits to the front lines of his life and his campaign of historic significance. It not only laid the military and political foundation for promoting the formation of the first Kuomintang-Communist cooperation, but also became a close historical testimony to Sun Yat-sen’s revolutionary career in the Dongjiang region with Huizhou as the main body.
