FDS(Fire Dynamics Simulator)自2000年首次公开发布以来,已经经历了5次重大版本更新。自从其发布以来,FDS已被应用于三个重要领域:火灾动力学基础研究,性能化设计,以及实际火灾的再现。由于其使用范围广泛,需要不断增加新的功能,同时还要对原有的和新算法加以检验和验证。庞大和不断增长的应用场景使得检验和验证工作变得非常困难。以图1~图3中的图像为例,图1是室内火灾模拟的Smokeview截图,用于验证目击者叙述的一致性。图2用来说明FDS如何被用来辅助现场试验,被设计
FDS (Fire Dynamics Simulator) has undergone five major version updates since its initial public release in 2000. Since its release, FDS has been used in three important areas: basic research in fire dynamics, performance-based design, and the reproduction of actual fires. Due to its wide range of use, there is a need to constantly add new functionality while also verifying and validating existing and new algorithms. Large and growing applications make verification and validation difficult. Taking the images in Figures 1 to 3 as an example, Figure 1 is a Smokeview screenshot of a simulated indoor fire that verifies eyewitness accounts for consistency.
