自采用无立柱空间这一方法以来,用限制前排立柱到煤壁的允许距离,控制了长壁工作面的安全开采。目前这个距离的规定限度是2米,但实际上越来越多的工作面超出了这个距离。也由于采用了掩护式支架,立柱是倾斜的,立柱的作用有时不直接落在底座与顶梁之间,对限定的无立柱空间距离就出现了困难,因此,需要改变无立柱空间距离来控制长壁工作面的安全开采。文章作者评论了这个情况。
