北京中医药大学中医药博物馆分为医史部和中药部:医史部收藏历代医药文物一千余件,善本医籍二百余种;中药部收藏各类中药标本二千八百多种,约五千余份。中医药博物馆目前有中国医学史展厅和中药综合展厅两个展厅:通过中国各医个学时史期展的厅医以药中文华物文,化再为现大了背包景括,少同数时民以族中在国内医的药祖发国展医史学为的主主线要,成就。通过各个时期的医药文物,再现了包括少数民族在内的祖国医学的主要成就。中药展陈包括中药综合展厅和药用动物展览橱窗两部分,中药综合展厅陈列常用中药近600种、1500多份中药标本,另有药用动物剥制与药用植物浸制标本近300种及数百幅药用植物彩色照片。
