澳门虽是弹丸之地,人口不多,但它是中华大地一颗闪闪发光的明珠,广义的澳门包括澳门半岛和两个离岛;狭义的澳门就仅指那个半岛而已。城中心区只有5平方公里,坐车观光只需半个小时,流连其间仔细游览,三天时间足矣!澳门是个遍地皆车的车城,偏偏街道居多长而窄,街面铺满了形形色色的鹅卵石,洋溢着中世纪南欧的情调。据说,铺街的石料都是葡萄牙商人当年登岸时从外地运来的。街道的名称还依稀可见历史、地理的色彩,像“大关前项”和“关前正街”中的“关”,是指清康熙二十四年(公元1685)在此曾设置海关;“佐堂格尾”是指清乾隆八年曾在此设立佐堂卫署;妈阁山、西望洋
Although Macao is a small place with a small population, it is a glittering pearl in the vast land of China. The broad area of Macao includes the Macao Peninsula and two outlying islands. The narrowly named Macao refers only to that peninsula. Only 5 square kilometers downtown area, only half an hour by car sightseeing, lingering carefully during the tour, three days is enough!
