通过对20例静脉性阳萎患者阴茎背深静脉和5例生前有正常动起的新鲜尸体的阴茎背深静脉的组织形态学研究,结果发现;在光镜及扫描电镜下都能看到Conti氏垫存在,但在静脉性阳萎患者的背深静脉中,Conti氏垫基底部增宽、低平,静脉管壁内弹力膜断裂,中膜胶原纤维增多,外膜平滑肌增生.认为Conti氏垫在勃起中帮助阴茎背深静脉主动收缩.静脉漏正是由于长期海绵体内高压,使阴茎背深静脉出现上述病理改变,致使勃起垫功能失调,阴茎背深静脉失去主动收缩关闭能力.
