“现代性问题”是本世纪六十年代以来西方思想文化界逐渐展开的一个重要论题。作为一种新的理论话语出现的现代性首先是某种文化反思的结果 ,反思的对象正是至迟自启蒙运动以来有关“现代”的历史演进与话语建构。本文即以“现代性问题”这一特定视角面对中国现代小说 ,力图将在现代文学中历来被视为价值终点的“现代性”重新拉回阐释的起点 ,以见出中国现代小说这一习见对象的某些新内涵以及“现代性”在二十世纪中国文学语境中的复杂性。在这一新的论域中 ,现代性的历史叙事与文学想象中的现代性、现代小说“元叙事”与小说文体生长中的丰富性等一系列相互关联又相互悖反的论题将会在文化诗学的视野中得到新的阐释。
The question of “modernity” is an important topic that the western ideological and cultural circles have gradually started to carry out since the 1960s. The emergence of modernity as a new theoretical discourse is, first of all, the result of some kind of cultural reflection, which is precisely the historical evolution and discourse construction of “modern” since the Enlightenment. In this paper, I take the perspective of “modernity problem” as a face to face up to the modern Chinese novel, attempting to bring the “modernity”, which has always been regarded as the end of value in modern literature, back to the starting point of interpretation to find out the modern Chinese novel Some new connotations of the idioms and the complexity of “modernity” in the context of Chinese literature in the twentieth century. In this new discourse, a series of interrelated and contradictory topics such as modernity in historical narration and literary imagination, and the richness in the development of modern novels “meta-narration” and novel style Cultural poetics in the field of vision to get a new interpretation.
