设计在一定程度上改变了人的衣食住行,改变了人的社会关系和生活方式,甚至也改变了人们看待这个世界和自身的态度。随着社会经济结构和经济形势的转变,消费文化日益膨胀,消费者的购物欲望与日俱增,消费文化成为当代文化生产的主要模式之一。在此文化的催生下,一部分有闲阶级把钱投入彰显他们身份地位的奢侈品中,以炫耀他们的与众不同。艺术设计被统合在消费文化之中,制造着消费与被消费。面对这种“炫耀性消费”现状,设计和用户研究在其中应该担任什么样的角色,又能起到什么样的作用?本文主要通过对消费文化、用户研究和设计引导几个方面来阐述这个问题。
