怀素,本姓钱,字藏真,长沙(今属湖南)人。唐代杰出的书法家,擅写狂草,是一位出家的僧人。怀素自幼个性坚韧,只要认定的事就会排除万难坚持到底。怀素聪明好学,左右邻居都说他“学必成功,才当逸格”。在他10岁那年,由于家贫,怀素决定出家为僧。父母情急之下,百般阻拦。怎奈怀素性格执拗,出言必行,竟真的剃去头发,到一座寺院里当了和尚。当了和尚的怀素,在寺院中读经之余,对书法产生了兴趣。这种兴趣爱好一发而不可收拾,他将寺院中所有的纸头墨笔都悄悄地收集起来,正面写了反面写,练起了书法。 Huai Su, my surname money, the word really Tibetan, Changsha (now Hunan) people.
