The clinical features and pathophysiology of autoimmune pancreatitis are still unknown. To do this, the authors analyzed 8 patients with autoimmune pancreatitis. Methods Between 1987 and 1998, 121 cases of pancreatitis were diagnosed in Tenri Hospital and Kyoto University Hospital.
