准水丝铀矿呈浅黄色,针状晶体,沿c轴延长。二轴晶正光性,2V_((计算))为47.7°。折光率为:N_p=1.640,N_m=1.658,N_g=1.760。光性方位为N_g∥C。矿物在紫外光照射下不发荧光。斜方晶系。空间群可能为Immm,晶胞参数为α_0=6.51,b_0=8.78,c_0=4.21,Z=2,计算比重4.67。X射线粉末谱强线为5.22(100)(110),3.54(80)(101),4.38(50)(020),3.79(50)(011)。根据电子探针分析得到矿物的化学成分为UO_383.4%或UO_488.1%,H_2O约为10%(热重分析)。准水丝铀矿产于扎伊尔沙巴省申戈洛布维铀矿床氧化带,在一块标本上同时发现有以下次生铀矿物:菱铀矿、黄钙铀矿、橙红铀矿、
Aquiferous uraninite is pale yellow, acicular crystals extending along the c-axis. The biaxial crystallisation was 2V ((calculated)) 47.7 °. Refractive index: N_p = 1.640, N_m = 1.658, N_g = 1.760. Optical orientation is N_g∥C. Minerals do not fluoresce under UV light. Orthorhombic system. The space group may be Immm. The unit cell parameters are α_0 = 6.51, b_0 = 8.78, c_0 = 4.21, Z = 2, and the specific gravity is 4.67. The X-ray powder showed 5.22 (100) (110), 3.54 (80) (101), 4.38 (50) (020), 3.79 (50) (011). According to the electron probe analysis, the chemical composition of the mineral is UO_383.4% or UO_488.1%, H_2O is about 10% (TGA). The quasi-hydrothermal uranium deposit is located in the oxidation zone of the Shengeluobu uranium deposit in Sabah, Zaire.
