2011年是孙中山先生领导的辛亥革命100周年,孙中山先生的孙女、原国民政府行政院院长孙科的女儿孙穗芳为纪念祖父,宣传孙中山先生爱国革命不断进步的精神,决定有选择地向大、中、小学慷慨捐赠100尊孙中山先生的铜像,置放于世界各地供后世敬仰。她长期以来以研究、宣传其祖父思想为己任,到过世界许多大学演讲,出版过《我的祖父孙中山》等作品。得知相关捐赠消息后,为了赢得这次难得的捐赠机会,在民革江苏省委、民革泰州市委有关领导的
2011 is the 100th anniversary of the Revolution of 1911 led by Dr. Sun Yat-sen. Sun Shuifang, daughter of Sun Yat-sen and former daughter of Sun Ke of the Executive Yuan of the National Government, commemorated his grandfather and propagandized Mr. Sun Yat-sen’s spirit of patriotic revolution and decided to selectively move to the big, Middle and primary schools generously donated 100 bronze statues of Dr. Sun Yat-sen to be placed in the world for later worship.
