改革开放以来,国际交往的日渐频繁,旅游意识的逐渐增强以及休闲假期趋向差异化发展,都为中国出入境旅游注入了无限动力。出境游方面[1]:2010年中国出境旅游人次5739万,同比增长20.4%。预计到2011年达6500万人次,至2015年达8375万人次。入境游方面[2]:中国入境旅游人次增长68倍。实践需求是最大推动力。在这种背景下,翻译活动作为国际旅游的媒质,其重要性日渐彰显。恰如魏星[3](1993)指出,旅游翻译作为一种特殊翻译活动,内容包罗万象,这使翻译过程变得更为复杂、困难。
Since the reform and opening up, the frequent international exchanges, the gradual increase of tourism awareness and the development of leisure holidays tend to be differentiated, all of which have infused unlimited power into China’s inbound and outbound tourism. Outbound travel [1]: China’s outbound travel visitors in 2010 57.39 million, an increase of 20.4%. It is estimated that there will be 65 million people by 2011 and 83.75 million people by 2015. Inbound tourism [2]: China’s inbound tourism increased 68 times. Practical demand is the biggest driver. In this context, the importance of translation activities, as a medium of international tourism, has become increasingly evident. Just as Wei Xing [3] (1993) pointed out, tourism translation as a special translation activities, all-inclusive content, making the translation process more complex and difficult.
