Frey at Cardiff University in the UK recently discovered the function of pheromones, pointing out that the material can easily induce disoriented honey bees. The research was published at the International Beekeeping Conference in Nagoya, Japan, last October. Every spring, bees nest in groups when flying around. Professor Frey points out that this phenomenon is caused by the pheromones secreted by the bees back. At the same time, he also found that pheromone is a sign that workers bees identify their nests.
