陈济棠治粤时期广州商业报纸以社会新闻为卖点,取得了官办报纸无可比拟的经营业绩。但是,围绕这种新闻类型本身的争议与冲突却持续不断。社会新闻究竟是否代表了“社会”?究竟谁才是“社会”的代言人?新闻学界与新闻业界、报界与官方就此展开了长期论争与实力角逐。分析这些争论与冲突,可以看到“社会”这一旗号是如何被角力各方用来争取自身利益的。
Chen Jitang’s business newspaper in Guangzhou during the Canton era took social news as a selling point and achieved unparalleled operating performance in government-run newspapers. However, controversy and conflicts surrounding this type of news have continued. Whether social news represents “social”? Who is the “social” endorsement? Journalism and journalism industry, the press and the government launched a long-term debate and strength competition. Analyzing these disputes and conflicts, we can see how the “social” banner is used by all parties to fight for their own interests.
