In January 2005, “Contemporary Chinese Historians Library”, published by Beijing Normal University Press, launched the Qu Lin Dong volume titled “Theoretical Heritage of Chinese Historiography” (hereinafter referred to as “Theoretical Heritage”). The book embodies in more than 20 years, Mr. Qu Lindong in the history of Chinese historiography in the process of the development of Chinese historiography many theoretical issues of hard exploration and in-depth thinking. In the past two decades, many books on the history of Chinese history have been published, but such works as concentrating on the systematic study of the theoretical issues in the development of Chinese history including ancient Chinese history,
