随着全球化的推进,越来越多的海外学者开始关注中国的广告发展历程,其中政治招贴亦是学者关注的内容。目前海外学者关于“文革”时期招贴的研究有三种研究进路:第一,政治层面,关注艺术政治化和作为政治宣传工具的研究。第二,艺术层面,着重突出社会主义现实主义的艺术特征以及对中国政治波普艺术的影响。第三,社会层面,关注招贴中不同群体形象的解读。总的来说,海外学者对“文革”招贴的研究有一定深度和广度,侧重于艺术领域和意识形态宣传的研究,但囿于对中国历史的有限了解,依旧有很大的研究空间。
As globalization progresses, more and more overseas scholars begin to pay attention to the development of advertising in China, among which political posters are also the content of scholars’ attention. At present, there are three research approaches by overseas scholars on the poster of the “Cultural Revolution” period: first, at the political level, paying attention to the politicization of art and research as a political propaganda tool. Second, at the artistic level, it focuses on the artistic features of socialist realism and its impact on China’s political pop art. Third, at the social level, we should pay attention to the interpretation of the images of different groups in the poster. Generally speaking, overseas scholars have some depth and breadth in the study of the “Cultural Revolution” poster, focusing on the study of the field of art and ideological propaganda. However, due to limited understanding of Chinese history, there is still much room for research .
