Recent statistics released by the Thai Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association show that the country’s pharmaceutical market in 1993 reached 17.09 billion baht ($ 680.1 million), an increase of 10.5% over the previous year. From 1987 to 1993, the annual growth rate of the Thai pharmaceutical market was above 10%.
