According to Gao Yihong’s motivation and self-identification classification, the article conducts a survey of motivation and self-identity of English majors and non-English majors to answer 1. What is the law of motivation? 2. What is the law of self-identity? And self-identity between what kind of relationship? The article proposed more reasonable teaching suggestions.
